Lawyer

Ryan is a lawyer at Johnstone and Reimer Lawyers with experience across a broad range of dispute and litigation matters, including consumer law, fencing and adverse possession disputes, residential tenancy matters, bankruptcy and debt recovery, as well as general civil litigation.

Prior to joining Johnstone and Reimer Lawyers, Ryan worked as a lawyer in private practice, where he also gained experience in criminal law and intervention order matters. Before his admission as a lawyer, Ryan volunteered with Victoria Legal Aid, assisting Duty Lawyers at the Ringwood Magistrates’ Court, which provided him with valuable exposure to court-based advocacy.

Ryan’s approach is centred on clear communication and achieving practical, cost‑effective outcomes. He understands that disputes can be highly stressful and disruptive, and he is committed to guiding clients through the process with clarity and confidence.

Ryan graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Global Studies. He also has past experience working in the IT industry and maintains a strong interest in all things related to computers and technology. He is particularly interested in legal developments at the intersection of emerging technologies and the protection of consumer and individual rights.
