Lawyer

Neha graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Criminology and Bachelor of Laws, and completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at Leo Cussen Centre for Law. Neha has been admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria as an Australian Legal Practitioner.

During her studies she completed a brief internship with the Peninsula Community Legal Centre’s family violence team, assisting duty lawyers to advocate for affected family members including victims of domestic violence in family violence intervention order applications.

Neha also gained experience in the corporate and commercial sector, working within an inhouse legal team.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, reading (always with the goal of breaking records with her Kindle reading streak!), and exploring hidden food gems around Melbourne.

I would like to formally express my sincere gratitude for the incredible support I received throughout the entire process. Thanks to the consistent communication and care provided, what could have been an overwhelming experience was made much easier to cope with. In particular, I wish to acknowledge and thank Neha Kumar, who has been truly wonderful from beginning to end. Her professionalism, regular updates, and reassuring presence provided me with a great sense of comfort and ease during a challenging time. I am deeply appreciative of her support and the genuine care she demonstrated throughout.
